Two mighty works by two of Russia’s greatest masters whose lives and music were intertwined in a fascinating way. World-renowned pianist George Vatchnadze returns to our stage to perform one of his specialties, the iconic Rachmaninoff Second Piano Concerto,
while the NSO presents the tuneful, grandiose and supremely Russian Symphony No. 5 of Alexander Glazunov.
