Treasures of the
Romantic Era
Our multinational line-up of great composers (four of whose last names all begin with the letter "M") begins with a pair of Martinis - one Italian, the other French, and features dance, aria, and a particular art song that will sound surprisingly familiar. Also two complete symphonies by the Masters
of Heavenly Music, Mozart and Beethoven. We thus
have been transported to the magical world of musical
Romanticism.
Melinda Wakefield Alberty makes her debut with the NSO and her superb artistry will capture the elegance and beauty of Mozart’s music.
There will be a free pre-concert lecture given by our popular lecturer, Jim Kendros, at 2:30 pm.
