Northbrook Rotary
Rotary is an organization of business and professional persons united worldwide to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build good will and peace in the world. The NSO and Rotary partnered last year (2011) in raising funds to support Rotary International's "End Polio Now" campaign. Northbrook Rotary has been a long-time supporter of the NSO. This year we will be partnering with Northbrook Rotary
to help raise funds for their efforts and to boost NSO ticket sales at our Feb. 17, 2013 concert.

Northbrook Woman's Club
The Northbrook Woman's Club is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the community through philanthropy and service while fostering personal fulfillment through shared interests. The Northbrook Woman's Club has been a long-time supporter of the NSO. The NSO and NWC will be partnering this year to help raise funds for Northbrook/Glenview Youth Services at our May 5, 2013 concert.

Glenbrook North Tri-M Honor Society
The purpose of Tri-M is to inspire music participants, create enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulate desire to render service, and promote leadership in the music students in the school. The NSO is partnering with Tri-M to give them exposure to a professional orchestra and to provide the students with opportunities for playing with the NSO. Forty Tri-M students joined the NSO onstage at one of our concerts in the performance of Tchaikovsky’s War of 1812 Overture. The NSO provides three scholarships each year to Tri-M students.

New Tradition Chorus of Northbrook
The Chorus is the chapter chorus of the Northbrook Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. They provide access to the arts and musical education to both their members and the community. We partnered with the Chorus for a special 9/11 concert on Sep. 11, 2011, commemorating the 10-year anniversary of the tragedy. Following that success, we partnered on a second joint concert on Sep. 9, 2012, celebrating the music of America.

Northbrook Park District
Their mission is to enhance the community by providing outstanding services, parks and facilities through environmental, social and financial stewardship. The NSO is partnering with the Northbrook Park District and its Northbrook Community Choir to present a local holiday concert in Northbrook at Techny Towers on Dec. 2, 2012.

Northbrook/Glenview Youth Services
Youth Services is devoted to the mental health, character development and physical well-being of children and families in the community. The NSO is pleased to partner with Youth Services to help them raise funds by sharing revenue from NSO ticket sales at our May 5, 2013 concert. Stay tuned for more details.

Village of Northbrook
The Village supports a variety of charitable social and artistic entities in Northbrook and the NSO has also been a recipient of their support. We bring a rich cultural experience to the Northbrook community. We work to attract patrons to our concerts and bring customers to restaurants and other businesses in Northbrook.
